There is a five-student maximum per class\, which means you’ll get plenty of one-on-one time with the instructors to ask questions and get feedback. There are two instructors: John Freitag and Doug Nelson. You will have your own equipment to use\, so there won’t be any waiting and watching for your turn while others work. We have over a thousand square feet of stone on the floors and have over twenty different types of stones to work on. You’ll learn a lot about each of the following processes\, with the majority of your time spent actually working on the stone. \nThis course includes:\n\nMasking and protecting surrounding areas\nDetermining stone damage\nGrinding and honing\nFeathering\nBasic Repairs\nLippage removal\nTile removal and replacement\nHand grinding\nWorking with marbles\, terrazzo\, limestone and travertine\nPolishing floors to a beautiful gloss finish\nBringing floors to a honed finish\n\nClick here to learn more.
