How do I remove the toothpaste stain from my marble vanity?

Q: I have a toothpaste stain on my marble vanity top in my bathroom. Do you suggest your product for removing this type of stain and can you give me any additional advice on applying a poultice to marble?

A: To remove toothpaste stains from marble try a poultice with hydrogen peroxide, but before you apply one try cleaning the area with some mild dish detergent and warm water. If this does not remove any of the stain than apply a poultice with peroxide.

You can either create a poultice yourself, or if you would prefer something more convenient, try the Dr. Fred's Stain Sponge, available  here . You can learn more about creating a poultice by visiting Stone and Tile PROS'  Stain Removal Application

I would also recommend that you download our  Stone and Tile Care Guide  which has an entire section on stain and etch removal.
