Someone told me that using the recrystallization process is harmful to the stone, is there any truth to this?


The recrystallization method has been a topic of great controversy since its introduction to the United States in the late sixties and early seventies. There are several people who feel this process is detrimental to the marble and there are those who claim there is no harm in its use. At the time of this writing the jury is still out.
