Pricing granite work is very difficult and will vary from region to region. At the time of this writing, I have seen prices as low as $7.00 per square foot to as much as $30.00 per square foot. The size of the job, the type of granite etc. are all consideration in determining price. Price will also depend on your overhead, markups and profit margins. One word of caution, most contractors like to bid work based on square foot pricing. I do not agree with this method. The best way to bid a granite restoration is to calculate the man hours required, then if the customers insists on square foot pricing, back the hourly rate into total square feet.
