Staining from silicon can be very difficult to remove, but not impossible. First remove all the silicone caulking; removal of the stain will require the application of a poultice and a strong solvent such as methylene chloride. Several applications may be necessary. Solvents such as mineral spirits, toluene and methylene chloride may be required to remove this stain.
TIP When replacing the silicon caulking buy a non-staining type. If in doubt contact the manufacturer.
