The sealer has left a hard silicone residue on the tile’s surface. To remove the excess silicone, the tile will have to be scrubbed with an abrasive cleaner. Several kitchen-type abrasive cleaners are available which will remove this film. If the area is large, a floor machine may be needed. Work the abrasive cleaner into the tile, adding just enough water to form a thick paste. Scrub with a circular motion and rinse the tile thoroughly with clean water. Several cleaning’s may be necessary to remove all of the film. You may also want to try using a marble polishing powder.
