Flamed granite has a rough texture which will tend to hold dust and dirt. Prepare a solution of stone soap or neutral cleaner and warm water. Flood the floor with this solution and either agitate with a scrub brush or machine-scrub. Pick up the solution with a wet-vac and repeat until clean. After the floor has had time to dry, apply a good-quality silicone sealer.
TIP If the granite has grout film on it, it may be necessary to use a acid based cleaner. Sulfamic acid is a good choice and is available at most tile supply stores or home centers.
