Q. I just had my travertine floors installed last week, is honed finished, but I do not want a very glossy finish. How long does the enhancer last?

A. How long the color enhancer lasts depends on how much traffic it sees and how it is cleaned and maintained on a regular basis.  All in all, a flat honed floor will remain in it's original state longer than a regular honed floor or even a regular honed travertine floor with color enhancer. The travertine will not absorb much of the color enhancer and will leave you needing to re-apply frequently as it will sit on the surface and wear off quickly.
