Use a quality stripper/degreaser for marble. Always test the stripper in a small area to make sure there are no adverse effects. Chances are that when all the wax is removed, the marble will appear dull. Let your customer know that there are two options. The marble can be recoated with additional wax. If they choose this option, make sure to use wax specifically designed for stone. The better option is to have the floor refinished and repolished. The repolishing option is generally the best alternative, since the shine will match that of a new floor and will be easier to maintain.
