I am trying to fill a travertine floor with colored grout and am having trouble getting it to dry. I s there any thing I can add to the grout to get it dry faster?

You bet. Creme of tartar can be added to the grout mixture which will make it dry faster. (That’s right, it is the same creme of tartar that you buy at the grocery store. )

TIP There are several pre-packaged mixtures that are designed to fill travertine. Some of these mixtures contain ingredients that will prevent shrinking and will promote faster drying. Check the resource directory in this book.
