I have a marble floor that I have to grind, hone and polish the edges with a hand machine. Every time I do this I seem to be getting soaking wet due to all the water I need to use. Is there a way to do this with less water?
Estimated Reading Time: < 1 MinuteThe reason you require all the water is because your machine is too fast. Slow the machine down to the same speed as your floor buffer and you will require a lot less water. If your machine is not equipped with variable speed you can purchase a rheostat that can regulate the speed.
TIP Instead of using the water feed option on your machine, you can use a spray bottle. If your machine is slowed down you will not need as much water.
