Is it safe to use a store-bought cleaner/wax combination on my marble floor?

I would advise against it. Although these are excellent products for vinyl floors, most of them have a tendency to yellow and darken marble. If you must wax your floor, I would suggest that you contact a stone care supplier and purchase a product designed specifically for marble.

TIP Store bought waxes can build up on a marble floor and can be very difficult to remove. Try using a heavy duty acrylic floor stripper and be careful not to scotch the floor. It may be necessary to grind the wax off the floor.
