What is the best material for protecting walls from the marble slurry created when honing?

There are several materials that can be used. Plastic sheeting and drop cloths can be used. Several contractors I know use waxed butcher paper. There is also a material that has tape already attached to it and is available in a rolled dispenser. Any of these materials will sufficiently protect the walls as long as they are applied carefully.

TIP Many protective papers and plastics can be purchased at your local paint supply store as well as home centers and hardware store.
